When two AI agents identify each other during a conversation, they can transition to Gibberlink Mode, communicating via rapid sequences of beeps and tones. This method is faster and more cost-effective than traditional speech synthesis, as it doesn’t require advanced hardware like GPUs and can operate efficiently on standard CPUs. A notable demonstration of Gibberlink’s capabilities involved two AI agents arranging a hotel booking. After recognizing each other as AI, they switched to Gibberlink Mode, conducting the remainder of their interaction through the sound-based protocol. This demonstration highlighted the potential of Gibberlink to optimize AI-to-AI communication, reducing the computational resources and time required for such exchanges.
