Trusting Technology Over Supernatural Wisdom AI is becoming the “go-to” for emotional support, life advice, and decision-making. • People say, “AI told me,” more than “The Lord revealed…” • But only the Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10)—AI can’t discern your spiritual purpose or God’s will. 3. Replacing Relationship with Resources Rather than developing a relationship with the Holy Spirit, people seek tools, prompts, and apps to feel guided. • We were created for intimacy with the Holy Spirit, not dependence on programs. • When relationship is removed, religion becomes routine, and technology fills the gap. 4. Turning to AI for Moral & Ethical Questions Instead of asking the Holy Spirit to lead them in truth, people are relying on AI to shape their worldview. • The Holy Spirit convicts of truth, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), but AI reflects culture’s values—many of which contradict the Kingdom of God. 5. Crowding Out the Voice of God The more we turn to tech for answers, the quieter we become to the Spirit. • Society is drowning in noise—constant input, alerts, and opinions. • Hearing the Holy Spirit requires intentional stillness, sensitivity, and surrender. AI is a tool, not a teacher. It’s not evil in itself, but when it becomes a substitute for the Holy Spirit, it becomes a hindrance to faith, intimacy, and truth.
