that's only enough for about 60 people if there is a lot of other food. 30×$5.50 = $165. that's about right. no confusion in any of this

I have no idea what price this hostess is quoting from 15 years ago. $5.50 for 1/8 of an 8 inch roll makes zero sense. So I have to this the entire roll is $5.50. U can get a roll for $8 or $9 today

For everyone that’s confused she meant 30 individual pieces of rolls, but she doesn’t know much abt sushi so she doesn’t know that 30 rolls means 30 rolls= 8 pieces per 1 roll. Hope that makes sense
