That item was probably 90% off, then the sku gets removed from the system. That’s why item come up as a penny. Most stores remove these items before consumers get them. Google Home Depot penny policy.

She’s correct on this situation. I’ve experienced this a few times with Home Depot. Where there’s an item on the shelf with the wrong price. They have given me the item for free.
