That primer is absolutely horrible. I had to do 4 coats and it's still showed the original colour perfectly

Okay but you could just do 3 coats of paint instead. Why do 1 coat of primer and then 2 coats of paint? You have to switch out all your brushes and rollers just to still roll the wall 3 times?
