the only thing that bothers me is the rule going all the way up. I would build around the hood vent and blend with the cabinets. the original tile is fine

I love the tile you have now. It’s so elegant! The subway tile isn’t bad but it doesn’t feel as high end as what you have now.

i think white tiles with white grout will make your backsplash disappear/blend into the rest of the kitchen

Looks better, the only thing I would say is that it binging white, all the stains will stick out way more when cooking, but love the design

Use a piece of art on a big tile,surround that with smaller tiles.We used an Italian countryside picture on a pretty good size tile, 16×20🤔 can't remember now but we used the tile color from pic😉

the glue stick on tile do not last. the heat melts the glue and the tile will start too look Like it's fallen. I cook alot and it happened to me

A solid piece of light green marble for the backsplash behind the stove would look good. The 2 diff types of tile looks terrible

The pattern of the other tile is already "busy". Dont add another pattern at all. Consider stainless steel solid panel, or solid panel of white

If anything use a panel of stainless steel !! Otherwise leave it alone. I just did my backsplash in the same tiles BUT it's a mixed blue pattern from Floor & Decor 👍👍👍👍
