I would amend his statement. The truth doesn’t sulk. But scientists do sulk when their theories are found lacking, as they sometimes have the potential for reputational/financial harm. An excellent example that seemed to be around lately was the scientist who invented leaded gasoline and published that it’s safe. Years of data later, despite personally experiencing the harm he continued to push that it’s safe (and make millions of dollars).

If someone proved to me that god existed (any god) I would believe that they existed but I don’t think I would worship them. What kind of god let’s kids get cancer? Not one I would worship!

atheism is a bit close-minded tho. It denies the POSSIBILITY of existence, which we don't have evidence for either. The science's answer currently is "we don't know", which is different from "isn't"

I know God does not exist because God was, has always been a HUMAN creation, a desperate, quite ARROGANT metaphysical construct to try to counteract EVOLUTION, because as a species we are incapable of accepting we are not special, just one of the millions of species on this planet that evolved from something else! The term "BELIEF" itself denounces that FAITH is never based on any EMPYRICAL EVIDENCE, just a BELIEF PASSED ON generationally, through EDUCATION and RELIGION! So, yes, the mere fact there are many religions with different Gods, with several civilizations throughout millenia worshiping several God's, all different from civilization to civilization, all that is UNEQUIVOCAL PROOF that the concept of DEITY is solely a human mental construct, not real at all!
