I'll be honest it was quite depressing visiting the disappearing and retreating Franz Joseph and Fox Glaciers and seeing the constant swarm of helicopters.

Thanks for the nostalgia. I was there in 2008. Awesome experience and made me think of all of the other great times on that trip to NZ. Travel as much as you can. The world is amazing.
