In a bowl, marinate the diced chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside. 3. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Stir-fry the onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. 4. Add the garlic and freshly ground black pepper. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. 5. Return the chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through. 6.
