when have you ever heard anything alarm and even looked round or attempted to do anything about it? people will hear it and think its a shop or car alarm. it should be a voice shouting Grape Alarm very clearly, I would go looking for that very quickly!! .. something to watch innit, nothing on the telly

Sadly what would happen is the majority of people would see someone being attacked and either walk by or stop to video it rather than actually do something to help. But hey they would get some likes on their social media.

a personal alarm like this one, isn't just for our mums, sisters and daughters... I use one when wild camping. with bank line it can be used as a perimeter alarm via a trip wire. I would also carry it when hiking on my own too. 130 decibels is loud. 👍
