You having a manual truck is really just preference from the work you post on your channel it’s mostly motorway hauling and city work where a automatic box would be more efficient compared to a manual

There was a time when companies had only manual trans and if you didn’t know how to effectively use it you wouldn’t be hired simple. Thats what we need to go back to, we’d be in a better world.

I don’t understand the argument of standard vs automatic. 10 year vet here. I can drive 8,10,13,18. But I’ll take an auto any day. The problem is with their mentality.

about to get my cdl an would much rather learn 16-18 speed manual over an automatic cause one think it’s better and 2 I think it makes you more valuable as well cause anyone can drive an automatic🤷♂️
