The audio books read by Andy are the best way for my brain absorb all of Tolkien’s works. The silmarillion is like a holy book, dipping in & out stranding off is the way to go with it for sure.

Also helps to understand that it’s a collection of independent stories that don’t really serve a larger story. Every time I read it it feels like I’m reading something new b/c new stories stand out
