Agree! Not to be political but Harris had a plan to address this by expanding Medicare coverage for in home care. I thought for sure that would resonate with enough people but apparently not.

Mrs Hackman stopped speaking with her dementia mother two years ago as well. Becky was very very private and I feel awful for how they both died. I hate she felt she had to isolate. Heartbreaking

My mom took care of my grandparents (my grandma had dementia) for about 7 years living with them. They passed within months of each other and my mom passed from undiagnosed cancer 8 months later.

Often the caregivers die before the person who needs the care anddddd that’s what happened here… sad. Our country needs to take care of our seniors properly, not just the ones who have $$

Nanny jobs CASUALLY posting jobs 60 hour a week minimum … as if the parents could ever pull this off 50 weeks a year caring for 2-3 chikdren, 12 hours a day no break. Insane 🚕💨
