I had waited years looking foward to this moment. though to be honest I had no idea what she might look like now we were young and hadn’t really coordinated how we would recognize each other. 30 min go by then an hour came and went, yet still I waited for her, there was girl who standing awkwardly who had been waiting nearly as long as me. She looked nothing like my childhood friend but I would be lying if I said she wasn’t pretty. I decided to go over and ask if she wasn’t pretty waiting for anyone. But before I could even speak “are you ____?”she said caught off guard “yeah?” I replied. “ I know your probably looking for _____ but she passed away a little while ago” what? But that can’t be right. Yet she knew my name and hers so she must be telling the truth. Shock and yet I felt nothing no attachment to her at the same time I didn’t really feel sad or even angry just nothing. Why?
