@fitwithniamh_: If your main goal is fat loss then you need to be implementing this into your weekly routine…👏🏼 A lot of people immediately believe that in order to lose body fat you need to be working out as intensely as you possibly with can with doing things like HIIT workouts. Although that style of training is also amazing & helps improves our cardiovascular health whilst being able to burn a lot of calories in a short period of time it primarily uses carbohydrates for fuel due to short, intense bursts of activity followed by rest. It improves the ability to perform high-intensity efforts repeatedly. HOWEVER, steady state zone 2 cardio helps burn fat efficiently during the workout and helps build a strong aerobic base, which improves metabolism over time. In those first clips I avoided cardio & barely got 5k steps a day, whereas now I currently do 3X 30 minutes of steady state cardio at the end of my sessions alongside 10k steps a day which I have found has improved my progress SO much🫶🏼 1:1 coaching enquiries 🔗 in b10💕💗💘 #gymmotivation #fatloss #fatlosstips #fatlossjourney #steadystatecardio #cardioworkouts #cardio #weightlosshelp #gymgirl

Is it better to just focus on zone 2 cardio and focus on steps count as well as a calorie deficit to lose fat?

if you’re reading this let this be your reminder that it’s 80% what you eat and 20% what you work in the gym

I was going to pilates 2/3 times a week and not noticing much of a difference, as soon as i began to walk to the gym and hit over 10k steps every day, my body has transformed. This really does change everything

Am I problematic that I cannot stay on the treadmill for more than 15minutes? Everything stops functioning after that and the time is killing me! Every second that passes I don’t know it drives m nuts
