I had one argue that I didn’t base coat in white to why it’s different, as the 18y/o in B&Q said so. Done a white patch to prove them wrong 😑

😂😂😂 The dead inside stare. If I get the paint, I always take a picture with their finger pointing at the colour. Never again man

worst for me is when they tell you they have used dulux visualiser but really just picked a retail sample, once bought 15lts on strength of that and had to change it, made them pay though

Costumer’s choice were three similar colours for her flat, bought the material her self, popped over to Tenerife. We finished, she came back and hated it really hated, painted it all again light gray

teachable moments. I explain that the colour on the card is on a white background and yiu my dear have a black wall you want yellow!. it's going white first before any colour is going on it.

just asking but I'm decorating my daughter's bedroom but I'm finding the wall is really chalky. do I dust it down and paint over it or do I need to treat the wall first then paint it. thanks x

the most annoying thing for me is when customers say "I think we've got some of the paint". you turn up and they've got a litre of valspar and a 10 year old tin of gloss
