if this was in a book and instead names, flashbacks, powers, and even small inside jokes were just blurred text that slowly unblur (not instant a progression) as the mc learns more. sounds cool asl

Annihilation is narrated by the MC in first person as she goes through a region that messes with her mind. without spoil, it doesn't do memory loss but first person insanity is an incredible read
