@zaccupples: Ever see someone that looks like they have no backside? Perhaps they even have a rounded upper back and flat lower back. This is what’s called a “Swayback” posture. Swayback occurs with over active glute muscles, namely the posterior-lower portion of the hips. When this area gets tight it pushes the pelvis forward and hides the bum. 

To improve overall mobility and the sway back posture, the pelvis must be shifted back and the lower glutes need to loosen up! Positions that activate internal rotation in the hips are wonderful for getting the hips back and eliminating the sway back position Hinging, box squats and frog positions are some of my favorite ways to recover hip internal rotation in my supreme clientele.
