If u rent a 16 passenger van, but only transport 3 people, the rental agency won't give you money back. but if you rent the same van to try transporting 20 people, they'll require you rent another van

Is there some amount of I guess leeway? Like they book for 20k and it comes in at 20.1k? Is everything still fine? I get if they book 21 and load 30 or 40.

Underloading is their problem. They’re the ones not taking advantage of what they paid for. Like ordering large fries at McDonalds and only eating half. You don’t get a refund.

I've had it happen before and made them unload the truck. I left it on the dock and went down the street to pick up a different load.
