Homemade Lahmacun 🍅 🧅🌿 This is what I crave when I want something crispy, juicy, and deeply comforting — thin dough, rich spiced beef, fresh herbs, and golden blistered edges. Baked to perfection and wrapped in lemon and love. 🍋 A taste of home, from scratch 😌  Listen that crunch 👂 ⸻ Ingredients 🛒 (for 8 lahmacun – 22–24 cm) Dough: 🌾 380g all-purpose flour 🧂 6g salt 🍬 4.5g sugar 🌿 4.5g dry yeast 🛢️ 12g olive oil 💧 215–230ml warm water Topping: 🥩 400g ground beef 🧅 1 medium onion 🧄 4 garlic cloves  🌶️ 1 red + 1 green pepper 🍅 1 medium tomato 🌿 Half bunch parsley 🍅 1 tbsp tomato paste 🌶️ 1 tbsp pepper paste 🌶️ 1 tsp paprika 🔥 2 tsp pul biber (hot chili pepper flakes) ⚫ 1 tsp black pepper 🧂 1 tsp salt 🛢️ 2.5 tbsp olive oil 💧 Optional: 1–2 tbsp water if too thick ⸻ Instructions 👩🏽‍🍳 1️⃣ Make the dough Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar and let it bubble. Add flour, salt, olive oil and knead into a soft dough. Cover and rest 45–60 min. 2️⃣ Prep the topping Blend onion, garlic, peppers, tomato & parsley. Mix everything together with the beef, pastes, spices, and olive oil. It should be spreadable, not soupy. Not dry also. 3️⃣ Divide & roll Cut dough into 8 equal balls. Dust your surface and rolling pin with flour and keep dusting as needed so the dough doesn’t stick. Roll each piece super thin almost transparent like real lahmacun should be. 4️⃣ Spread & bake Top each with a thin layer of filling, edge to edge. Easier to do it with the back of a spoon. Bake on a preheated tray at 230°C for 8–9 minutes. 🔥 I love mine crisp and slightly burnt on the corners bakery style. 5️⃣ Serve it right No sauces. No wraps.
