From youth football all the way throughout highschool, I played everywhere on the offensive line and defensive line, had 1 in middleschool playing linebacker and fullback too. Playing left tackle (which is the only position I played for more than a year, played 3 years in high school) was by far the hardest. I loved it because I viewed it as a compliment considering you typically want your best guy there, but it was hard. It helped that I was a little quicker for a fat kid to help get out to the d-end on pass plays and my entire team were maulers when it came to run blocking, also while playing left tackle, I was finally able to be on a state championship team. My school typically sucked at sports, but it was nice to win the first one in over 20 years.

Some plays are runs, some plays are passes, every play the OL gotta block. Them and RB’s have the shortest careers for a reason
