what about affection drinking? my cat just stops drinking out of his water bowl. I'll change the type of bowl, refresh the water, even got a fountain water bowl but no matter what it is he just stops!

I was told it was bc he wanted me to keep look out like he was scared another cat would come and take his food. He’s an only child so I was always confused by that.

I never knew this was a thing. My cat will not eat unless I sit beside her in the floor while she eats. She's always done it & is soon to be 16 y/o. I rescued her as an abandoned 3 wk old feral kitten

Wow, just moved houses. My cat was previously an inside/outside cat at my moms. I bought my own house and he came with me. This makes more sense
