pagmamano is not only for old.. old people. its just a preference when others dont want to give "mano" coz.. "it makes them feel old" but its for the younger to show respect to sum1 older.

In the province, especially in tight families, kids, teens, young adults, adults make mano on a family (parents, aunts, uncle, grandparents, godparents) with significant age gap from them.

Mano po culture is still prevalent in the Philippines. Even when I was at my early 20s my nieces would ask for my hand every time we meet. But yeah, it made me feel old hahahaha
