Could have gone to the savage yard and grabbed an assembly and checked it out and did a continuity test with a multimeter and just put the new pump on that assembly.

same issue i had on the es300 I've got (same as that car just with lexus badges) check the wire that goes into it from the car, they tend to rattle around and break wire off under the seat area
