Why do some snap in on implant dentures have alot of material going over and down the gums, and some almost just sit on the implants, without going down the gums on both side? Just got the first kind

Hope they teach patients that they still have to floss around the abutments. And smoking isn’t good either. That implants can fail. Not that this isn’t a good option. But educate!
