Hey new golfers, the USGA isn’t watching you… ground that club in the bunker, take relief out of a divot or hard area where you might damage your club. It’s not that serious.

Wanting to get my kids into golf more, do I care if they ground a club, nope! Put the ball on good grass no use getting more frustrated hitting it out of a golf unreplaced divot or clump or grass.

It’s not repair your pitch mark, because you do not all time a pitch mark. It’s repair a pitch mark even you do not one ✌️

Good advice but beginners don’t tend to hit the green so no mark and don’t make a divot after the ball very often!

Do not replace your divots. That grass is dead. Fill it with seed, tamp, go.
