Morning Star would be amazing and devastating. However I would realistically “hypothetically” have to go with Rapier and Short Sword/Dagger. It’s incredibly maneuverable and fluid like boxing with blades.

kusarigama. its complicated. So i would think not a lot of enemies would know how to counter it. I could still learn to use a sword or bow or spear normally to a normal degree

It's got to be some kind of bow. No chance in hell I'm getting up close and personal with a manticore. I don't care how good you are with a kusarigama, you can't block a 10ft long tail strike with it.

Halberd, easy. Does everything most other weapons do. Axe, spear, hammer, all in a reinforced shaft. Need to go in tight spaces? break the shaft, now you have a handaxe you can thrust with.

Combat Scythe..in any generic fantasy world anyone seeing someone in a dark cloak masterfully welding a large scythe is seen as an omen of pure death..fair amount of battles won before I even attack😈
