why would he care if they were done wirh kids? When I wanted a hysterectomy my husband didn't say anything and just took care of me the weeks after my surgery. He's just happy I'm not in pain anymore

It is her body and her choice, that is the end of that discussion. It is understandable to have an emotional response to the news but that is on him to manage. Talk to a therapist, find healthy ways to share your feelings with your partner but DO NOT pressure them into doing what you want.

That is a must for relationships talking about it before kids. My husband is ready for it (11yrs together 4 married), but he is holding off, which I understand. We just don't have the space.
