if you were on doxy for 4 years your gut could be damaged :( look into GI mapping and blood sugar balance! Wishing you the most luck. ♥️

Have you tried tretinoin? I tried spiro & doxycycline, spiro didn’t really work, tret helped but not enough but definitely helped! I’m on accutane now after 2 years of trying to heal it but nothing

If your cool with birth control maybe try a different one because that alone can clear a lot of people

125mg of spiro- took 4 months to fully clear! I sometimes also wish I wasn’t relying on meds so i get it, but for my mental health it’s worth it. Just sharing, you know what’s best for you🫶🏻

I used to love face reality too but if you read the ingredients a lot of their products have witch hazel in them which can be drying. Plus a lot of their stuff has pore cloggers :/

Spiro was the only thing that worked for me but it took longer than 4 months for it to work. I know you don’t want to use pills-I don’t either. Just thought I’d put that out there🫶🏼

Totally! Also, antibiotics really mess up your stomach and you could end up getting candida or leaky gut like I did and you get acne from that as well so it’s not worth it honestly.

I’m sure you’ve considered this but could the birth control you’re on be triggering your break outs? I recently got my nex taken out bc I really do believe it was contributing to my hormonal acne!

Totally on your side girl! 🙌🏽 I went on accutane in high school, my acne came back. Then I went on birth control pill for 4 years, and my skin was super clear for a while - but I became resistant and had severe skin sensitivity and acne again 😭 I’m trying natural supplements now - getting to the root is the only solution 💓

i feel like if ur on doxy for four years, ur acne is most likely gut related. antibiotics destroy the natural gut biome. i think my acne is gi related too honestly.
