@glitterandlazers: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been a game changer in helping me heal. While I originally started going to help with some challenges in would healing caused by my autoimmune issues, I keep going because it has helped stabilize my inflammation and significantly decreased my fatigue. I am also sleeping better and healing faster from flare ups. One thing to note is there are a lot of “treatment centers” that are not medical grade. Because of this they aren’t held to the same standards, they often use cheaper soft shell machines and it is not the same experience. One is a medical treatment with set protocols that requires a prescription and is run in a facility manager by a doctor, the other is a health spa offering that is playing off a trend.
