@abc7chicago: Giant hail battered Kerrville in south central Texas on Sunday, March 23. This video, taken by Raeanna Willis, shows her cracked windshield from the falling hail, along with pieces of glass on her seat and gear stick from the smashed sunroof. The National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio branch on Sunday issued a “severe thunderstorm warning” for Kerrville. “This storm will contain golf ball-sized hail!” the NWS said on X. Willis told Storyful: “We were caught in a terrible hail storm on Interstate 10 headed toward Ingram from Kerrville. We had nowhere to get out of the storm. It came out of nowhere. “We were covered in glass as all of my panoramic sunroof caved in and my front windshield was completely damaged and (we were) unable to see.”
