It's such a shame. At the top of their game, just before a major release their Creative Director gets nyxed and drags New Jeans down with her. Every decision NJ made post-departure reeked of MHJ direction. Regardless of what their relationship was like behind the scenes, it's pretty clear MHJ was using these girls as a tool to get what she wanted.

I am disappointed with this take by you in particular. Others saying the same sentiment I don’t really care out but I respect your opinion. Hybe has more than made their investment plus some and were not investing back into them - why should these artists go on feeling like Hybe is owed anything more? Also let’s see how the actual trial goes not this temporary injection which they are contesting btw. Also the courts ultimately require them to pay they will. They know all this.

multiple aspects of this, legally it is a bad idea, careerwise it won’t help them if they want to work with big companies. I don’t think that means their actions are immoral, I think it reflects the fact they’ve been robbed of alot of agency, in how they express themselves I think it’s perfectly understandable that they would want to do this, it comes with risk that they will have to accept. But for all we know they’ve lost the legal stuff anyways and they are trying to make the most of what they have while they have it, if not, if it was salvageable then yeah probably a bad call

I think only time will tell tbh. There may be factors we are not aware of in this and generally I will support the girls regardless of whatever bad advice they may get (if it is bad advice). I do hope they come out ok because I think kpop artists should be inspired to take stands when they think it’s right regardless of their age/experience. But we’ll see.
