Vaqueros has some of the best tacos I've had in Fargo. Know for their Quesabirria! If you wanna try a smaller town across the river, Pelican Rapids has Taqueria Chavez and that place is amazing.

As a North Dakotan that lived in Arizona for 10 years - I make the best tacos in ND 😅 Charras y Tequila and Cali burritos has good tacos in Bismarck though.

The Mexicans that have restaurants here really Americanize the food for the residents. Taco Bell is spicy for the average resident here. 😬

I go to El Chido Taco in New Hope, MN. They have a location not too far away in Plymouth too. There’s also La Hacienda in Minneapolis.
