Doing a balance transfer is not a terrible idea. We did one and paid it off. Be careful, some you have to payoff within the term or you’ll be charged the interest that you “saved”.

You must have better rates then me. I owed $4500 on my card, now paid off, and interest was around $140 a month. I locked that card and don't touch it. We have a citi with 19% so if we have to use credit and can't pay off we use that one.
