we don't have spring break. Just good Friday and recently Easter Monday is a weather makeup day we get off if we don't use all of our Flexible Instruction Days.

I also teach in lake community (BLA) and we always get out before memorial day too but we also get a spring break! But I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and never had a spring break 🤷♀️I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason

Your school is my old elementary school, we didn’t have a lot of time off. My kids go to largest school district in the state and we get a lot of time off.

We get a week in Feb and a spring break in April. I would rather skip the Feb break and get out earlier in June! This year our last day is June 26th!

I'm more of a year round schooling fan, so lots of breaks and shorter summer, but I can see the appeal for a vacation area. do you notice a lot of learning loss over summer?

How longs your winter/ Christmas break? our local district starts after Labor Day, finishes the Thursday after memorial Day so still in May. Full week for spring break and Christmas is at least a full week not counting weekends sometimes up to 10 days depending where Christmas Eve is.

I used to teach in a rural school district in south central Wisconsin and they only had spring break every other year. Poor community = families didn’t have money for vacation or childcare on break

Ours has a February break and then spring break around Easter. Would love to get rid of the February break so we could have an extra week in the summer

I didn’t grow up with Spring Break, we always had a long Easter break. Now the district I work in has a long Spring Break and no days for Easter, I hate it.
