Statins are life savings for ppl with heart disease,they help to stabilize dangerous soft plaque. When you make these statements you are possibly putting ppl in danger by scaring them.

Statins aren’t proven to be associated with Alzheimer’s, and many ppl have genetic high cholesterol even if they have ideal diet/exercise. Statins will help reduce the risk of vascular dementia

People used to die of heart attacks in their 50s and 60s. Statins allowing people to live into their 80s and 90s. of course there is a higher chance to get Alzheimers living 20-30yrs longer.
