No the time share company paid the Mexico authorities to arrest them. When the timeshare company changed the terms unjustly the credit company sided with the couple. This is a civil case and they should never been arrested.

What the family is saying is they didn’t commit fraud, the resort did and they disputed it and won. Now years later, they go to Mexico at a different resort and were arrested.
