A couple of parallels I have to tell you about. My mother, who died last year of dementia. I took over her vehicle a minivan, 2002 85,000 km. It hadn't driven for almost 5 years, needed a new battery, and that was it? She's running beautifully, but it's funny. You said he had dementia, and I'd been sitting for 5 years, because that's almost the exact same scenario here in Canada.
