we adopted a 9yo hound a couple of months ago. He's just happy to be here, a happy old guy sunbathing in the back garden and switching between dog beds to nap.

I have no desire for a toddler with no diaper that vhew up everything. Adult dogs are the best. It is heartbreaking but I adopt senior dogs that no one wants.

I got a puppy in my early 20’s and I’m never doing it again. It’s like having a dog with factory settings. They don’t know anything! I got my girl when she was 3 and she’s never peed in the house.

true! my baby girl was found at 5 years old in the woods protecting her litter (almost certainly not her first) and then was in the shelter for a YEAR. she's my best friend and the sweetest pup ever

Adopted my dog at 7. Literally woke up the next day and went to work for 8 hours . No barks , no potty issues, eats any food , loves the lovins ❤️
