It is my own personal truth, and you can do your own math. “I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” Brooke claimed. “Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuce comes in all shapes and sizes.” The “Brooke Knows Best” alum clarified that she has “completely separate reasons for going no contact with” either parent, and the estrangements have “nothing to do with each other.” She explained, “Each individual, on their own, has given me more than enough reasons over the years to make this extremely hard and painful decision to end contact.” The former reality star broke down the alleged abuce she suffered, from “berating and vile text messages” and “public reamings” to “blatant lies [and] manipulation,” referring to herself as a “pawn.” She concluded by requesting “the chance to” “enjoy what’s important” — the “life and children [she] worked so hard to create and protect” — without “injecting any more poson” into it. Linda, 65, alleged on Wednesday that Brooke “cut [her] out too” after getting into a fight with her dad eight years ago.
