Whether you agree with installation advice or not; she is correct in that they are easy to replace and shops overcharge you. Every single person who sucessfully does it ONCE realizes this.

she offered good advice! is she actually showed folks how to change brake pads. I guarantee, most folks do not put grease at the point of metal to metal contact.

i found 2 major mistakes here. first, she did not put lube/grease on the brake pads where metal to metal contact is. second, she did not torque the lug nuts she used pure force which can overtighten

The reason for the high costs in auto repair shops are because the mechanics need their monthly salary, and the shop needs to buy in parts. Don't try repairs at home if you don't know what your doing.
