Siblings aren’t always the answer. Hangout with your kid, spend time with them. They will find friends. Friends can be more powerful than siblings

Only child, loved my life. My mom had more energy than most and my house was the place to be. I had the most toys and my mom made all my friends food. My dad would pay for my friends to come to museums etc with me. I had lots of cousins and live a full, rich adult life. I am so grateful to God for giving me 3 younger brothers. I am the eldest daughter & for a long time most responsibilities fell on me. But now, in my 30s, as I am going through hardships, I am able to fully lean on them & I am extremely grateful. Parents raised us to always be there for each other no matter what. Sibling relationships depends on the parents.

As someone who grew up only kid in the house it was very cozy and my parents gave me so much love I’m really close with them and am so grateful I feel like they were able to give me there all and be fully present with me ❤️❤️❤️my best friends are family to so I wasn’t ever alone

Growing up, I missed the fun sibling rivalry, but once I was in 5/6th grade I learned my brain had created imagination fully, I have developed creativity and I didn’t have to share the love of my parents. Being an adult tho my failures weighed harder bc if I failed I was the only one they had.
