i just put my 16yr old dog to sleep, ive had her since she was born (i was 16yrs old then). as a petmom & vet tech i know it was the right decision but it still sucks

My 13 y/o pup passed away a few days ago & my parents’ dog who we’ve had longer than my pup has been sniffing us every time we come into their house to see if we smell like my dog 😭

Awww I had a hospice foster cat, he was like 20 and shaped exactly like the sun and mind you he was very old and sick and clearly overweight and he only ate deli turkey and he was mine for 3 whole weeks and he’s the best thing to ever happen to me. Kirby!! He’s the best boy and if you’re a rainbow bridge person like me, when she’s ready, there’s gonna be him and my dog Boomer who looks like he was missing a white sock, and my DAD are gonna be there!! Bailey giving her a place to transition there safe and comfortable and happy is the best thing you could ever do for her!! You are an earth angel and I know it’s scary but it’s worth it!
