this reminds me of the person I know who judged me for not going straight into PHd... and then I realized, yeah it makes sense for her cos her parents paid everything for her... she could apply to multiple unis. but for someone who's the breadwinner I didn't have that luxury. I can only apply to one so if it dors not I need to wait another year. I had to do that so my family could survive.
