The tundras are getting the whole engine replaced, not just the core but the whole complete engine including all accessories. That’s how good Toyota is with warranty

I’ve got 3 Chevy cruizes and all 3 has over 200.000 miles on them and never a problem yes every 100000 thousand miles you gotta change the timing belt but other than that no problems with the engine all 3 were bought new off the lot

The only Kia/Hyundai's with issues are American and Mexican built ones (VIN nr starts with 1.3.4 or 5). Rest of the world gets South Korean built (VIN nr starts with K), and they have zero issues.

Wrong its not the 5.3 blowing its the 6.2 that just grenades but yes any gm with the afm on then can have the lifters fail get the afm deleted or turned off 5.3’s last forever i personal have 1 300k

Toyota has fixed the issue easily and the right way. The other cars on the list is a design issue. They would have to design a completely new engine to fix their problems.

2016 Chevy Equinox for sure. I have one and hate it....done fixed 6 different things in less than 2 years and replaced a motor in it and still have issues

The Tundra doesn’t belong on this list. Toyota is replacing EVERY ONE with a complete engine and I guarantee you they will be great engines once they’re done. Name another company that would do that.

The 5.3s aren’t grenading, the new 6.2s can have an issue, but it’s not extremely widespread. Cylinder deactivation is to blame on the epa, not GM the big three all use it.
