walmart locks theirs with padlocks. I worked at the deli and literally food had be made and available till close, so if we made it 10 mins prior we had to toss it. They wouldn't allow us to set it out or give away perfectly good hot food

I’m a manager for a national chain. I never throw leftover pizza away. I give it to those in need. It disgusts me that businesses will throw food away they’re not making money off of anyway

When I was homeless in 2011 a guy couldn't drop off a box of ronuts because the shop chose to not open that day. So he gave me the box to take to school for my birthday.
