I would buy it but I couldn’t get past the first book. the emotional devastation. it was written SO well, it just hurt too badly too continue. Everything I wanted in a book and I couldn’t even handle it.

I could have stopped reading this series at any time. It was pure drudgery! To much blathering on and on. I literally could have stopped reading 50 pages from being done. The Sword of Kaigen was a beautiful book(while we are comparing) it just felt like the middle book in a trilogy. And while we are in this geographic area I did stop reading Jade War after the first book.
