@cbsnews: United Nations officials said Sunday that they had uncovered a grave in Rafah, in southern Gaza, containing the bodies of 15 emergency responders whom they said were targeted and “killed by Israeli forces while trying to save lives.” The bodies were buried near “wrecked and well-marked vehicles,” the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator said. The Israeli military acknowledged its troops had opened fire on ambulances. It told AFP in a statement emergency responders had been fired on after their vehicles “advanced suspiciously.” According to the UN Palestine refugee agency, UNRWA, at least 280 workers have been killed since the start of the conflict in October 2023. #news #israel #gaza
