This will allow American suppliers to be more price competitive compared to foreign imports. American suppliers will increase domestic production which means they hire more American workers who will in turn spend their wages in America. This will take a few years but will happen eventually 🤔

I'm supportive of limited targeted Tariffs to accomplish a specified goal(s). Not against everyone all at once, and not based on this ridiculous formula. I love Trump but this is beyond disappointing.

I asked this question four days ago and didn't get a response; I'll ask again. What do you see as success or failure here? In less than a week, more than 40 countries have announced they are dropping tariffs on US good if we do the same. Do you not see this as success?
