people who haven't been through it before don't realise that it is really really hard to get fit while also staying skinny, you will just throw yourself into exercise but see ZERO improvement because you're not fuelled enough

For the most part the body that people view as nice and toned is a strong body that lifts weight and has nice muscle mass and is a person that eats enough - not a starved cardio body

im 'smaller' and some of the 'bigger' girls destroy me in the gym, both in cardio and weights, they are stronger and fitter.im too embarrassed to do classes cos il be the one to pass out

And fitness isn’t always a size. My friend and used to do back to F45 classes, we were partnered with a size 6 newbie in class and she couldn’t believe how fit we were 😩

There are also different types of fit. I’m a dancer, I can do a whole 5+ min hip hop choreo (not for the weak😭), but I’m not a runner AT ALL

With ozempic/other similiar the beauty standards will change as anyone will look thin. Fit however will always be the hardest so I do think in 10year time women standards will shift that way
